The Illinois Health and Human Services Coalition’s 2023 Survey: Contracts, Delayed Payments and Court of Claims, is exploring this issue.
The Coalition is surveying community-based providers to determine with what frequency providers experience delays in contracts and payments, and how often they are likely to receive payment through the Court of Claims process. The data from this survey will serve as critical information to the Illinois General Assembly as we determine legislative fixes.
