Illinois is working to implement Summer EBT, the first new federal nutrition program in 50 years.
Summer EBT will provide a grocery benefit to families with school aged children in the summer months when school is out. Unfortunately, children in Chicago Public Schools will face unique challenges to enrolling in the program because CPS schools do not collect individual applications from families.
Join the Campaign on Summer Childhood Hunger for a webinar to learn how Summer EBT will work and how you can help raise awareness about the new program.
The webinar will be held April 8 at 3 pm. Register here.
