Join IL Partners and the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless for a webinar with information about Bring Chicago Home, a campaign to create a dedicated revenue stream to pay for housing and supportive services for people experiencing homelessness.
The campaign would generate over $100 million every year by increasing the real estate transfer tax (RETT) only on properties that sell for over $1 million.
With over 68,000 people in Chicago experiencing homelessness, we need more resources to be able to create more housing opportunities!
This will be on the ballot for Chicago on March 19th – we will hear from grassroots leaders and Policy Advocates at CCH about ways to support and get involved.
