Over the past three months, IL Partners has been conducting focus groups with 61 health and human service organizations across the state to better understand how workforce related issues have evolved over the last year.
When we conducted our initial workforce research in the Fall of 2021, we knew that the struggles so many organizations were experiencing were not going away. This research supplement demonstrates that high vacancy rates, turnover, and other workforce issues persist, and includes a new lens on how private philanthropy can best support human services.
This research will be a focal point of our conversations with legislators and philanthropic leaders in the coming months, as we continue to advocate for increased investment in the human services workforce. Thank you to our coalition partners who made this research supplement possible!
